Ingredients: 4 servings Thinly sliced beef 300 g Burdock root 1 stalk Ginger 1 knob (60g) Oil 2 tablespoons Sukiyaki sauce 1/4 cup Sukiyaki Sauce Recipe: Combine: 1 cup sake 1 cup mirin (A type of rice wine similar to sake) ¼ cup sugar 1 cup soy sauce In a small sauce pan and bring it to a boil Story Behind this Recipe There’s a bit of cooking involved but you can just fry and eat it quickly. Helpful Hints: Fry the burdock roots with lots of oil. The dish is done once the beef is added, so make sure you cook the burdock well beforehand. 1. Scrub off the dirt on the burdock root well and cut into 3mm slices without peeling the skin and soak in water. Drain with a sieve. 2. Julienne the ginger. Cut the beef into 5cm strips. 3. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Cook the burdock well in medium heat. 4. Add the beef and when it is half cooked, add the sukiyaki sauce and ginger and cook until done. https://washoku.guide/recipe/2051065 Author Posts Viewing 1 post (of 1 total) You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
